Read just about any review of the 2-year old Samsung “The Frame” TV and you’ll hear about how it’s over priced to everyone except art collectors. I recently rolled my own out of two different TVs (long story) and have this to say about the offering:
The Samsung Frame TV is my favorite tech product of the last two years, but not for the reason you would think. The picture quality is great (for my needs and to my eyes), but it’s when the TV is off that this thing really shines. No longer do I have a black screen hanging on my wall. Instead, I have a piece of art or a photograph of my choosing… and it looks real as hell.
