Remodelista recently ran a little article on their favorite scissors… It’s a function meets form kind of thing. I don’t why, but I love scissors.
This isn’t exactly on topic, but I thought the theory behind the above airstream fit with the basic idea of EDC. It’s a small space that’s prepared for just about anything… and, of course, it’s mobile. The incredible design work is just a perk.

This is pretty rad… Essentially, “The Art of Manliness” spent some time and put together a list of 22 great ways to repurpose an Altoids tin. There is some great stuff here.
You’d be surprised at how handy a set of tweezer are when you include them in your EDC. Enter the PockeTweez… They are made of stainless, are brauny as all hell, and collapse – making them perfect for keychain carry. $25 gets you all hooked up.

I drive a car every day that has no heater. It’s damned cold this week… As such, I’ve added a new toy to my EDC. Enter the Zippo hand warmer. I thought it was a cheesy idea until I tried it. Holy hell, I’m a fan.

Here’s an interesting take on a clip for your shit. Essentially, it’s just a self locking mechanism that will attach to just about anything – your iPod, phone, knife, etc… I haven’t used one, but I’ve heard pretty good things about them.
