Not at all related to EDC I guess, but damn man… This thing is rad. It’s a Leica Revolver. The Revolver is essentially a quick change lens set up for a M-mount Leica that allows you to quickly revolve between three different lenses. They are pretty much impossible to find, but if you do luck into one expect to pay around $5k. CRAZY.
Looking to get a little more out of your iPhone camera? If you are desperate, give Photojojo a shot. They make these magnetic lenses for camera phones. They are available in a Fisheye, Macro, and a Wide angle. Twenty bones each.
So ya got yourself a super slick camera, but you are still using that cheesy wrist strap or ultra-uncomfortable necker that it came with? I was like you until last week… Then, I stumbled upon this dude named Gordy that makes these super boss camera straps. My cameras are sporting leather now.

Almost 2 years ago, Leica introduced the D-Lux 4 compact digital camera. Their partner in the project, Panasonic, released the LX3 shortly after. The cameras are literal twins of each other – from a hardware standpoint, they are absolutely identical. There are minor firmware differences between the two, but most photographers claim little significant differences in the resulting photographs. However, the Leica version of the camera retailed for about $300 more than the Panasonic. That 300 bones got you a cleaner case and that great red Leica logo. I don’t know if I can argue against it…
This is brilliant. How often do you need a cable for your iPhone while on the run? Seems like I’m always looking for one. FlipSync came up with this solution… It looks like a key fob, but flips apart to reveal an Apple dock connection on one side and a USB on the other. Of course, they also make one with all kinds of different standard and mini-USB connections – handy for connecting cameras, drives, etc…
I love this idea.

I admit it… I folded the minute that Apple announced the pre-order date and my iPad showed up on my door step on the release date. I’ve had a couple of weeks with the device now and I’m pretty damned impressed. Which is saying something as to be honest, I had no idea what I was ordering when I ordered it. Was this a laptop replacement? A giant iPhone? Or something different all together?
