I love the idea of this thing… If it works worth a shit, it’s worth it’s weight in gold for a guy like me. Quality scans on the go has always been kind of the digital holy grail for me.
A buddy of mine at Omega just casually dropped a bomb on me. Apparently, they are getting to re-release the iconic Omega Seamaster Bullhead. It’ll be true to the original save for the modern auto movement… And count on it being VERY expensive, but man-oh-man….
Obviously, it’s new camera season… And Sony just dropped a bomb. How about a full frame mirrorless camera the size of a micro-4/3 kit that doesn’t cost $7000? Introducing the Sony a7 and a7R. I think The Camera Store did a good job on the review. Check it out:
Fuji is the new Leica – making serious photography tools for minimalist, but they also have some branding to do. Enter Millican and their new British made bags just for the X-series. I use old military bags for my cameras, but this ain’t bad.
Apple has, on some level, always wanted to be Leica. And Leica, of course, has suddenly wanted to become more of a fashion brand like Prada. So, it’s only natural that the two get together a build a special edition one-of-one camera to be auctioned off by Sotheby’s. I’m betting this hunk of shit will sell well north of $50k.
You know Evernote, right? They make a pretty popular piece of software that organizes your life. I use it… when I’m in an “organized” mood. Anyway, they just finished a collaboration on a wallet. And, you know? I like it.
