For those that have no experience with it, Windows Phone was probably the best OS ever developed for a mobile platform. It failed miserably simply because Microsoft was late to support third party app developers and, as a result, Android and iOS got too big of a head start…

There was some hope that there was a Microsoft Surface Phone on the horizon. I guess that hope is now dashed…
