Yeah, AG does make the best hoodie as far as durability goes. I have three of them and each is over five years old. Only my shop sweatshirt shows wear. The other two still look brand new despite the fact that I wear them constantly.

That all being said, if you want something softer check out Marine Layer. They are made just as well as American Giant but with softer wearing materials.

Banks Journal is a company formed with both Australian and Japanese influence. They seem to be focused on a sort of retro coastal vibe. If Brian Wilson got into a fight with Don Draper type of deal… Only cooler. But better, everything I’ve seen is made crazy well. And while it’s all certainly expensive, the value proposition is not off if they have something you love. Unfortunately for me, I love it all…

I think Vans has a branding problem. They try to be this legendary comfort brand while still bringing to market all of these “innovations” with weird names. The thing is, nobody wants to spend $100 on a pair of Vans.

Even so, their Ultrarange shoes are some of my all time favorites and I often find myself interested in their other new releases. Their latest is no exception… The Ultimatewaffle take the Ultrarange and throws transparent outsoles into the game. The result is pretty dope looking.

Running my app again… and this one was hard to do because of all the variations with board shorts, but according to the internet, the best board shorts in the world come from Birdwell. More specifically, the 808.
