So remember that conversation we had on iPod watches? We knew it was gonna take off… and it did. So much so, in fact, that Apple actually designed new “watch faces” for their latest generation iPod Nano. And Hex? That are still at it – creating watch bands for the Nano. Hell, this metal bracelet ain’t half bad.

When 5.11 Tactical approached me about doing a review of some of their products, I was pretty fired up. I’ve always loved their bags and packs and couldn’t wait to get my hands on their offerings. So, I was pretty let down when I learned I was actually going to be reviewing their “Taclite Pro Vest” and their “Taclite Pro Pant.”
I love Best Made. They have such an eye for style and design… And they do it with such functional stuff. But did you know they made more than just axes?
I don’t know a thing about this brand, but I sure do like their style. The “Little America” backpack pictured above is just one of their classically inspired products.

Jens Anso is a knifemaker in Denmark with a sense for simplicity. His knives are clean and graceful. I like that… So, I was pretty excited when he decided to send us one of his new titanium carabiners to review. Each is CNC milled in Anso’s shop from .210″ thick titan 6Al4V.
