Default The iPhone Head Gasket

So I got my new iPhone 4s and instantly began looking for a minimal, yet effective case. In the past, I've always used Incase slip cases and while they are great at prot... To read the rest of this blog entry from The Gear Journal, click here.

Very cool case, but does it affect your cell or wifi signal?

Thanks Ryan, That's what I thought after looking at it... Some older reviews on amazon suggested it greatly reduced the signal. This the kinda case I needed... Already ordered one, Thanks again!

Pretty damn cool idea. But how does it compare to the otterbox case as far as drop protection?

Komo, It doesnt compare to the Ottterbox... If you need good protection stick with the Otterbox. I never planned on getting a case until I saw this... it gives me a little something more to hang onto, looks cool and doesnt add much size. I dont drop my phone so Im not worried about the protection, lol

Okay, just ordered the gray. I'm not an Otterbox fan either, reminds me of Spongebob.

I've tried 2 of these cases. The first one became a little "loose", but I really liked the case so I tried another. It has remained nice and snug. I wonder how well it actually protects the phone being that it doesn't have much shock absorption. It sure is neat looking and I like the way it feels. I can't do the big bulky cases. I understand them from a functionality standpoint, but they just don't work for me.

I tried this case for awhile... I really like it, looks cool, different and doesnt add any bulk really. The problem I had was at any given time I could put my iphone next to my wifes iphone and I would 1 or 2 bars less on signal with this case. So I have quit using it and my signal is much stronger. We are on Verizon, ATT or Sprint might be different?

I've dropped mine twice, no damage. It does have that kinda sharp edge to some of the areas mentioned earlier. That said it hasn't been a problem, no injuries yet.

I bought one. I like the thin tight fit but losing one or two bars on my signal sucks and same with the wifi signal. If someone wants it I'm probably going to throw it away
