A very, very nice piece (I could use one myself) but they are very proud of it! Great idea!

Do you run an office out of your bag? If so, where do you put it when you get to your every day office?
I used to put mine on my desk, but that took up work space and left the content of my bag flopping around. They I put it on the floor, but I kept kicking it over. So, I started putting it in a chair... But, like I said, this took up valuable sitting space. Thus far, I really like this thing. |

Very clean design. Looks like he may have worked for Apple. Looks very PowerMac like. It would be a nice addition to a well outfitted office. It is a little pricey. I might opt to make my own out of wood. If you have modest welding skills one made from some sheets of polished diamond plate might be interesting at a quarter of the price they are asking.

i could never get my head around the idea of a magazine rack that my parents used to use in the house, as a kid magazines used to be my life so i would always have the latest issue rolled up in my pocket, and the idea of neatly stacking it up seemed alien to me. guess it reminds me of THAT rack.

I think it's a really, really cool idea and I like the fact that they have so many options, colors/etc. for the shelf part.
That said, I have to be honest and say that it is way too expensive. If this was imported from Europe or made in Italy I would expect an insane mark up for something so simple (not that I'd pay it, but ...), however that isn't the case here. I'm not a cheap bastard, by any means and I've splurged more times than I care to admit on other things, but for what you get, custom or not, I couldn't swallow the price on this one. Add an option for gloss paint, flames and lockable casters under it and it would be another story. ![]() In all honesty and for what I see so far, I wouldn't pay more than about half what they ask for it. Love the concept, but this rubs me the same way as over-priced furniture that is only over-priced because it is targeting the conspicuous consumer, i.e. it isn't really worth that kind of money, but people will buy it because of its price (and because they have money) and want something that not everyone else can have. Again, awesome concept, just not at a reasonable price point. |

I don't get it, why don't you just but your bag on the floor where this thing goes? Just looks like something you end up tripping over. Not to mention the $200 price tag. Personally, I don't have that kind of scratch to have a "seating area" for my bag.
Don't get me wrong I like the design, the thing is fucking beautiful. But, I would have to say crazy over engineered. Form has not only passed function on this build, it's tripped it up when it wasn't looking, beaten the crap out of it, peed in it's baseball cap and stolen it's car to leave it for dead. |

Wouldn't an extra chair in the office make more sense? It could be used for a bag or a person, whichever was more important.
