I really like it. We should have talked guns when I was there. You could have looked at them both.

Didn't even think about it! I need something small for the mountainbike.

You do realize the small one in the pics is the Ruger don't you? It's small and weighs about 10 oz unloaded. It fits in the front pocket of my jeans just fine. Also would fit good in a pack on your bike. It's only .380 cal so it doesn't pack the punch of the 40 cal Glock, but it's an easy to carry piece

The Ruger is a tad too small, want a little more ooomph. You dont see the shit I used to carry on the bike!? My "knife" is an AK47 bayonette complete with barbed wire cutter!

Ok, well take a look at the Glock 27 also. It's a bit smaller than the 23 but is still 40 cal.

Yeah, I've just recently been looking at the "subcompacts" (and still may get some kind of hammerless revolver for pocket-carry).

I did just pick up a barely-used 9mm, a Kel-Tec P11. It gets lost in my big hand, but is easy to hang onto...and w/a double-stack mag carries 10+1.

I love my 686. Stainless like yours w/ Pachmeyer grips. Good shooter, and easy to handle. Just picked up a Ruger LCP for concealed carry when it's deadly hot out and concealed isn't so easy. I still feel better with something larger when it's comfortable to dress in 2 shirts and a shoulder rig is possible.

That's funny! (probably pretty true, too, but still funny)

I don't have any pics of my H&R; it looks about like these pics I snagged from an auction on gunboards.com...

Going to keep an eye out for more pistols; esp. thinking of getting one for daughter.

By special request, I am presenting the finest example of the Clark Custom Meltdown. This is the 50th anniversary Millenium Meltdown, a limited production of 50 units were numbered in the year 2000. Two remain available from Clark. The cost of admission is $3795. THIS is my dream pistol. I think it's the Damascus steel slide that gets to me most. http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/50th.htm
If you want this treatment on your own pistol, they can do that, too. It isn't cheap...

A new addition today to the .357 I posted earlier. Not the most beautiful but effective and light. Sig Sauer P220 .45, also got the .22 conversion kit. One of the many reasons I picked this one.
