Default Handgun Picture Thread

Post up some pictures of handguns that are asthetically pleasing to YOU. There's no wrong answer here.

These are at opposite ends of the spectrum......
-a vintage Luger (this ones Bulgarian I believe): Classic, collectible, and obviously a huge historical element.
-a Desert Eagle .50 cal: Big badass hand cannon.

Silva, I notice that most of your pics were smaller and good candidates for concealed carry. Does that have anything to do with your choices?

Good question. Yes and No, John.
Some picks are good cc candidates, others like the Ruger and Sig Sauer not as much.

However they were not all chosen for that reason...I have owned all, with the exception of the H&K and found them to be both functionally and aesthetically pleasing.

ofall the pistols I have owned ( and it covers a pretty fair amount) The one I miss the most is this ragged out old 1911 I got for a carbuerator rebuild.

My favorite gun saying -and I have heard multiple claims to the quote, so I have no idea who said it first- pretty much wraps that pistol up in a pretty little bow.

"In The event You have missed with all seven rounds, You will find that the 1911 makes an effective club."

that and one from the movies...
"Yoo knached my feef ohwt"-bad guy
"Well, Colt makes a heavy firearm."-Good guy.
appaloosa.

just a big, happy, no frills lump of steel that when properly dialed in is damn accurate, and stays that way.

The only pistol I'd ever HAVE to own...the Springfield Armory 1911-A1 .45

It feels like it was made for my hands, and while not as accurate as some handguns, I'll still find a way to put you down if you come into my house...just don't plan on leaving...

Taurus is nice stuff, my dad has a pair of .357 revolvers from them...and he's got some others too, like a HiPoint 9mm and a really small .38 semi that he carries (but I don't remember the manufacturer)...

I really wanted an H&K or kimber but didn't have the $$$. But I've got a buddy that has put thousands of rounds through his taurus 1911 with no problems so I thought they couldn't be to bad

They're made in Illinois...most people haven't heard of em that I've come across...the local gun store owner says he's put his 9mm through hell and back, dropped it, shot 1000's of rounds through it and it's still as accurate as the day he bought it...I have a feeling that most of the cost savings come from the composite frame...and they're light as hell...

I've got a buddy who was dealing guns up until the new Prez took office. He said the Hi-Points were great, for a cheap gun, if you got a good one and crap if you didn't. Apparently the quality control is a bit loose.

My cc. A Ruger P90 (.45) with Hogue grip. A little big and heavy, but I like it better than the Grendell .380 I used to carry, and skin my thumbs with...
