My Grandfather received a trophy set of cool kitchen knives, single set, in 1967. Since then they have been stored in everything from a shed to my now bedroom. They were presented in this wooden box such thing. The wood in the handles have dried put and become splintery and the scales are showing jagged edges. So I asked my Dad, because they're his.... if I could modify one of them to a cool little carry knife. This is about what Im thinking of accomplishing. [IMG]

Ok so I played around with some scrap wood and got happy with what I was doing. My machinest buddy set me up with a stock from an old junk shotgun he had in his tool box. I rough cut a section out for my handle, but haven't gone from there. I'd post some pictures but I haven't been able to do so, Ryan... Lol. But more progress is on its way I promise.

So I finally remembered I hadnt posted to this thread for a little while... My bad. Also I had roughed out a handle from the old shotty stock I was given. I like the shape I have finally smoothed out but then I messed it up by trying to drill holes for attaching the blade to the wood, didnt do a great job... Anyhow, anyone have an idea about pins to finish this thing up? Just something that will work, no need for fancy pins. If not I have no clue about attaching these pieces to eachother nor how to finish it up...
