Site Speed?

Is anyone else noticing the site speed is not on par with, say, Garage Journal or some of the other offerings? I hadn't spent much time here lately but now that I'm coming back ever once in a while, I am noticing that it is much slower at times than some of the other sites, especially compared to GJ.

I mainly get the 'waiting for gearjournal.com' notices while nothing is happening, so I assume it's a server side issue, as no other sites give me this behavior and GJ runs nice and quick in the same session.

Anyway, just thought to point it out in case something isn't working as it should. Great site, hope it grows in the future and hope this information is helpful.
