Default Cutco Sheath Knives

I am a hunter and recently found myself in need of a sheath knife for skinning and butchering big game- primarily deer. I asked the members of my hunt club what knife they preferred for that job. One name came up, and only one name. The Cutco 1769.

Any other fans?

That blade is sharp as hell. Be careful

I just bought some Cutco kitchen knives and you aren't kidding about them being sharp. I'm waiting to see how well they hold that edge. So far, so good and Cutco says they will sharpen them for life. An interesting tidbit: Cutco bought out the company that makes the K-Bar and brought the production back to the US. All their knives are made in America.

My hunt club buddies tell me these knives really hold an edge. By the end of skinning and butchering a deer my regular knife is pretty dull, they tell me these knives will keep an edge for a couple seasons. Unbelievabe but we'll see.
