In all seriousness I see a market for that bottle with the yuppie health club greenies. Phalates set those folks off in a tizzy. Should sell a Bazillion of them in Berkely! |

Good Question. I could use a new daily carry water-bottle.... does it fit in the average car's cup holder? I would imagine so since it was probably designed to fit on a bicycle. If it fits in a cup holder, I'm trying one.

It's pretty damn big. I would say no.. it wouldn't fit in the average car's cup holder. Maybe the smaller? I'll see if I can't get dimensions.

The 750ml thinksport bottle is about 11" at its widest point near the base and is not designed to fit in most cupholders. The 350ml bottle is just 9" and does fit most cupholders.

I've had my Thinksport bottle for about 3 weeks now and I have to say that it was a pretty good investment.
Add ice in the morning and it keeps my water cold all day. It doesn't fit in the cupholder in my car, but it rolls around in the passenger seat and does not leak or sweat at all. The only downside is the top. The top is connected to the bottle via a plastic strap that takes a little getting used to because it's not super easy to twist off the top without twisting the plastic strap as well. I'll never add tea leaves to mine, but the screen is nice and keeps chunks of ice from flowing out of the bottle when I drink. I dropped it the other day and it didn't dent, so I guess it's pretty tough. I'm not sure if it's dishwasher safe...I just wash it in warm soapy water. The water tastes good, not metallic at all. I like it better than the bottles my kids have because they are not insulated and if they sit out in the sun for more than a few minutes, the water in their bottles becomes warm and eventually too hot to drink. If you're looking for a good bottle, I'd recommend the Thinksport. |

I got one about 10 days ago. It is AWESOME! I let it sit with ice-water in the shop all day (Texas heat with no A/C...HOT). It sat for 9 hours and wasn't just cold, it still had ice in it! I was shocked. Also there has never been exterior condensation when I have a cold beverage inside.....I don't have to worry about setting it and leaving rings AND I'll assume I can put stickers on it without them peeling off. I've had a ton of water-bottles for various sports and uses....this is absolutely hands-down the best.

Nice review.
We also LOVE our thinksport bottles. They kept our icewater from melting for hours, even in the hot Florida sun. I once left my thinksport in the car, in June, from noon till 5pm. This was not a controlled experiment: i simply forgot it in the car when I went back to work from lunch. When I got back to the car after work, i glanced at the bottle sitting between my front seats. No sweat whatsoever. I thought to myself "Could the water still possibly be cold?" I lifted the bottle and gave it a shake - there was a reassuring "clunk" as the solid ice block swirled around. When I took a drink, it was the coldest, freshest water I'd ever tasted. Thanks thinksport! Last edited by Rashy; 01-16-2011 at 09:50 AM. |

My super awesome girlfreind bought me one for my birthday about two weeks ago. I find myself using it pretty much every day now. Ive had alot of tumblers and demo thermos's over the years and this one is Cadillac. The only problem is it doesnt fit in my Tahoes cub holder but other than that I love it.
