Default The WiseCracker

This isn't necessarily on-topic to the journal, but I ran into a guy last week with an incredibly inventive mind. It was one of those "small world" stories where he knew one... To read the rest of this blog entry from The Gear Journal, click here.

And here I thought it was some sort of improvised two finger brass knuckle deal at first glance...bummer...hahaha...still, a very inventive idea, and hopefully it markets well...

Good post!

I hope this type of stuff becomes "on topic". Anything that takes a standard item or concept and turns it on its head gets me fired up.

I don't know where I stole this quote from, but it goes something like this:

"Great design is solving a problem people didn't know they had"

Perfectly on topic to me. Bikes and cars have much in common! I prefer the Surly Jethro Tule, 15mm box end and beer opener.

Ryan,
Next time use a good craft beer in the example photo. Four Peaks Brewing in Tempe, AZ comes to mind. Try a Kiltlifter or an 8th Street Pale Ale.

Handy little addition to the bike. But I don't own a bike! I'll send a link to my son.
