I've got two old school Jon-e Warmer hand warmers / cigarette lighters.
Both of these are in really great shape, and the chrome is still polished. These clearly have not been handled very much. The standard size has never even been lit. I'm not sure when these were produced, but I would guess sometime around the 60s or 70s. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The prices marked on the box show $3.95 for the standard size and $4.95 for the giant size. On the back it lists Jon-E lighter fluid at 45 cents for an 8oz. can and 75 cents for a 16 ounce can. See below for pix and more complete descriptions. I am looking to get $25 out of each of these, or $40 if you want both. Free shipping. PM me for payment details. ------ The first of these is the "Standard Size" This one is basically brand new. The box is in pretty good shape except the flaps on one side were cut off to open the box at some point. It also comes with the original instruction manual. The chrome is REALLY nice and shiny. It has never been lit. The wick isn't charred and there's no charring on the inside at all. The original carrying sleeve is also in excellent shape. The second is the "Giant Size" This one looks brand new on the outside, but if you take the cap off you can see that the wick has been lit and there's a bit of charring around it where it was used. The sleeve has a small dark smudge on it above the jon-e logo that you can see in the pictures. It's box is in worse shape. The tabs are missing on both ends and as you can see in the pix the box itself is a bit rough. ![]() ![]() ![]() MORE PIX IN THE NEXT POST |
