I love that color! Nice choice. Do kids ask you about your pen?
I finally went out to pick up a Lamy, to see what all the hubub is about, and got the clear version of the Safari, called the Vista, and LOVE it. It really does hold a lot of ink in one fill and writes for quite a long time. +1 for Lamy. |

So, whats the advantage of a fountain pen? I'd love to use one just for the idea of it... It's fun! But what am I in for?

I've purchased my 5 Lamy Safari fountain pens from Swisher pens. I absolutely love the Lamy Safari. I use one every day at work. Combined with a vintage pocket protector and I'm an uber nerd to my students. I have the plunger because I enjoy mixing my own inks. I use a red with a glow in the dark ink so if I think a kid is trying to fleece me I can just hold it up to a black light.
