![]() A few months ago, I posted a review of my favorite wallet - The Slimmy. For those in the cold, the Slimmy is a front-pocket wallet that will change your life by eliminating the clutter of your every day carry package. Essentially, the slimmy is a miniature file folder that is optimized to carry a few business cards, a few credit cards, and your ID. That's it. And it all seems simple enough - right? How could such a rudimentary idea change your life? Well, now is your chance to find out. The Gear Journal is teaming up with Koyono Co. in an effort to spread the word and the Slimmy. The beneficiary? You. To read the rest of this blog entry from The Gear Journal, click here. |

i don't have a butt brick, anymore! i had a pinched butt nerve and the doc moved me to a front pocket wallet. now, if my father was still around, he had a butt BRICK that would win this contest.

And I always thought that our user names followed us from the Hamb, Garage Journal, etc... but I guess not.
Oh well, nothing like showing off your old ratty wallet as your first post on the Gear Journal... Later |

What a cool deal! Wish I could partake but I already use a micro front pocket wallet...
It really does make a difference. Can I have an Ipod for being proactive?

I live in Tucson, so we we went to Nogales a couple of times when Family was visiting.
And we bought some blankets and things like that. One of the things I bought there was a wallet made out of short light brown fur. One of our friends we used to hang out noticed it, when I paid for some beers in a bar a couple of weeks later. And she said something like " you got a new wallet?" I said " Yeah, you like it? its real Chihuahua leather..." She had a small Chihuahua, and her reaction was priceless... From then on, whenever something needed to be paid, my wife would say " Gimme the Chihuahua..", hold her hand out, and I'd give her the light brown furry wallet. That was 2 or 3 wallets ago. The current one is black leather ( no fur ) But its still the Chihuahua... |

Worthy of my first post! My butt brick is held together only by one of my wife's hair binders and just a little bit of tangled up dog hair.
I like to hang onto the orange sleeves my hunting & fishing licenses come in--they make especially classy business and credit card holders and keep me organized ![]() Great site--great contest, thanks. TR |

It might be hard to tell, but my wallet is HUGE....it's damn near Man-Purse territory! My friend Greg made it for me and I love it, but it really is GI-NORMOUS! It's super thick because I carry so much junk around with me. It can make my ass hurt when it's full. Anyways, here are some pics....
