I.D. necklace/lanyard for outdoor adventures

I do a lot of mountain biking and off-road motorcycle riding, sometimes riding solo. I'd like to come up with a necklace or lanyard that I can have some form of identification, emergency contact info, etc. just in case anything ever goes wrong on the trail. I'd prefer a breakaway system in case a branch snags the lanyard.

My question for you guys is, what would you have on the lanyard, and what type of lanyard would you use? I'm thinking of using paracord with a breakaway connector, and carrying an expired driver's license, and maybe some type of dog tag with emergency contact info. Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea.. Although Im sure of a couple solutions have been created for some situations, such as this...

For MTB they do make a decal that you can put inside your helmet with ID info.

I like that idea, but in case of an accident, on rare occasions EMS may opt to leave the helmet on during evac/transport which would render the sticker, and the information thereupon, ineffective.

I use a RoadID for running, MTB, climbing, skiing...basically all my outdoor activities. Cheap insurance for having important information available if I'm incapacitated.
